To help you find a specific part more quickly, we've combined our Keyword and Part Number search into one easy-to-use tool. If you know the exact part or part number you want, follow the helpful tips below to locate them quickly and easily.
1. All Summit part numbers consist of a 3-letter prefix, dash, and manufacturer's part number (example: EDL-2101). Include all three elements when searching for a Summit part number.
2. If you are using a Summit print catalog as a reference, type in the part number(s) exactly as they appear in the text.
1. Limit the number of keywords for each search to achieve best results.
2. Use quotation marks to find exact matches (example: "subframe connectors")
3. Use only spaces between multiple words--do not use commas or other punctuation.
4. Conjunctions, articles, and other "sentence structure" words (a, an, the, or) are not searchable.
5. Keyword searches are not case-sensitive--you may use capital or lower-case letters
6. Keyword searches are not sensitive to verb tenses or plurals. For example, typing in style, styles, styling, or styled will give you the same search results.
7. If you misspell a keyword, the system will try to correct it. You will be told which keyword was used in the search along with the search results. If you wish to use your original keyword, put quotations around it and search again.
Once you have entered your keyword, our Guided Navigation will sort your search results into a series of sub-categories. To continue your search using the sub-categories displayed on your screen, click on the "Search In Results" box at the top of the page. Otherwise, the keyword search tool will start a new search, which includes our entire inventory.
